And this is something to celebrate? She's been the most useless VP ever  Besides, this is only a flashy PR piece. This procedure takes anywhere from 30-60 minutes and is harmless. At best Biden will have some irritation afterward. He could have easily had this procedure done behind closed doors without this ridiculous fanfare.

It’s not really fan fair, this is pretty common for VP’s to have temporary power even in smaller cases of a president not being able to actively be able to run the country For any reason

As much as I loathe the two party system, their ratings appear pretty abysmal and the polarization of politics makes it impossible to get things done. And Biden/Harris seem unfocused on their campaign promises. 

I have a pretty deep fear that we are in some sort of in-between phase of democracy (which has been dead for ages) and facism in 2024. US citizens don’t realize it’s fascism, under the guise of patriotism. Just because it isn’t WW2 and the imagery of Mussolini isn’t around. The cult of the individual and lack of communal concern seems to really torn the US apart.

Could've had Bernie, y’all. Glad he and the AOC squad are fighting the good fight — even within the party. We can criticize the systems we live in and elect in. They impact our lived experiences.

They passed $1400 checks, pulled out of Afghanistan, and just signed a useless infrastructure bill into law unless the other one is signed up too… yay?

Politics has been the most depressing thing lately. I’m about ready to unplug because Democrats’ corruption and inefficiency is gonna get their cheeks clapped in 22 and 24. 
 

Everyday it seems like more and more people are either actively hating the Democratic Party or staying out of politics because of disillusionment.
