I have watched the original. We don't know how the remake will be. Maybe it will be good.

Fantina

Is the film necessary? Hell no

Am I going to watch this trainwreck ( pun intended) when it comes out and laugh my ass off? Quite possibly

Until then, this is Elvira saying unpleasant dreams.

I really don't want to root for this remake but I've been a MASSIVE fan of Timo Tjahjanto since 2009 (when he just started with his low budget film) and he's arguably one the best and most creative directors in horror genre right now and I couldn't be prouder to witness how his career have flourished up to this point, so idk how to react :fatcat:

It's just so insulting. Like America takes two steps forward and six steps back. Like we have bts and more Asian representation. And then thie happens where someone wants to fvcking white wash a good movie. And for why? Oh boo hoo you don't wanna read subtitles. You don't wanna hear Korean in a movie. You want white actors instead of Korean ones. Go watch an already made zombie movie then. It was probably ripped off from another movie. All America does is steal. Steal land. Steal ideas. Everything.

Exactly, he always surprises me with how much creativity is involved in each of his work tbh, you can tell how much he understands and loves the genre. So at this point I think I'll form my own opinion after seeing the actual movie

Yeah. Sure. Contribute to the unnecessary market of white washing and awful remakes. America can't even remake our own movies well.

Lmao sorry, i don't want to, but the world is finally giving Timo Tjahjanto, one of the most underrated Asian directors i know a chance to have his biggest project yet, and I couldn't just ignore that, even though it's a remake no one asks for :legend:
