I have. At first I was confused by it. Then I sat with the film for a couple days and watched a few analysis videos and now I love it. Even with my confusion at first with the movie, I thought Kristen Stewart was the highlight. She was incredible in the role! I hope she gets an Oscar nom.

I wanted to at first but when i saw an interview saying that the director thought it would be great to focus on one moment of Diana's life and that he also directed Jackie (2016) I just knew it would be a bore. And that's for a few reasons to me and it's purely subjective you can like whatever you want in art, but you're also allowed to hate something too.

-It focuses on one moment, Christmas day, 3 days in her life, when her marriage with Prince Charles is not doing well.

-I don't care about those 3 days, I care about a story, not a character analysis, we all know Diana went through a lot mentally, and with the press, but it doesn't interest me to watch for 2 hours Diana preparing for christmas eve and then christmas day and feeling a bit depressed. I want to see Diana's journey from innocent naive young woman to a woman who finds her strength and confidence, to then her tragic death and what it meant to people. I don't care about 3 days, it's boring

-Jackie was boring, and for the same reasons, it focused on the aftermath of Jackie after JFK's assassination. It lasted around 2 hours, you just see Jackie going through grief, preparing for his funeral, and that's it. That's not a story to me, I'm interested in stories, it's still art, beautifully shot, beautiful visuals, Natalie Portman was amazing in it, the costumes were great, but it's boring. Why do I care? Why should I care about this? I'm better off watching a documentary about it that shows me the relationship between JFK and Jackie in depth. Besides, Jackie is not that interesting as a figure, not as interesting as JFK. Sure u could say well she was a fashion icon, she modernized America or something, but when it comes down to it, you could write a book about different themes of Jackie's life pertaining to America and her impact, but is it worth a movie of 2 hours? Especially few days after an event? It's completely useless to me, Jackie is not worth a 2 hour movie with a renowed actress, it's just my opinion but she's not. The Kennedys? Yes. The Kennedy family? Hell yeah. JFK? Hell yeah. But Jackie Kennedy, a woman born in old money marrying another man from a privileged family, and becoming first lady? It's worth a music video like Lana in National Anthem, not worth 2 hours, with no plot whatsoever.

-I saw a scene of Spencer and thought Kristen was horrible.

-I like plots, rich plots, a storyline. Like House of Gucci for example. Scarface, Godfather, Wolf of wall street...show me a story. I'm here for a story, not here for an analysis of 2 days in the life of Batman or something. Stupid to me

Those are my reasons why I will not be watching

I want to watch but I can never find the time to actually go to the movie theater lately, hopefully that won’t be the case for Gucci though

I did and really liked it. It was kind of strange and definitely not a typical biopic (which is good)

as much as I love Gaga I’d be just as happy with Stewart winning the Oscar, she really deserves it imo

Well you clearly need to see it because it "imagines" that after these 3 days, she got the strength to leave the royalty.

I did enjoy it from beginning to end, I was not expecting much and I left pleasantly satisfied. Specially the relationship between Diana and his sons, that alone is just a small part of the performance.

I saw it and loved it the more I thought of it. I really liked that it was more artistic/abstract with fantasy elements then being just a standard formulaic biopic. The visuals are beautifully shot and Kristen Stewart blew me away and I’m not even a “Stan” of her, I like when actors go for the essence of the person and add their own life experience instead of doing a drawn out impersonation. The score almost made some aspects feel like a horror movie and became a character in itself (very tense/ominous atmosphere). I think the people disappointed in the film were mostly expecting something else and less ambitious.

I was gonna make the same thread, just saw this evening, I had very high hopes because the critics couldn't stop Raving about Kristen Stewart performance and all the acclaim she's been getting, and man I was disappointed, like what is even going on in the movie, it comes across as a dis-ingenous attempt to portray Diana in a bad light, the acting was mid not like so good, and the rest of the cast was plain bad. The cinematography was cheap, looked like a parody version of The Crown.

I will not watch House of Gucci
