I immediately thought the same thing when I read that, but I will say it is a "cult classic" in her discography. Between the fans starting the ACT 2 petition to NUMEROUS critics writing think-pieces questioning "was it really a flop?" years later. I think "critically acclaimed" might not be the best phrasing, but people LOVE to talk about it now in a positive light (or in a "it wasn't that bad" light), whereas in 2013, it attracted unfair statements about the longevity of her career.
