It’ll turn around.  Im sure this was before infrastructure passed and jobs report came out, and (knock on wood) quality of daily life will continue to improve with Covid vaccinations now so high.

They haven’t done anything since January when they took office. 🤡

Kamala is nowhere to be seen outside of Instagram photo shoots.

Biden tweets about the country being better than ever when that’s not even remotely true for the millions of people who continue to struggle day to day.

I’m glad we voted out Trump but it feels no progress has been made since.

We live in a time of nothing but obstructionism.  Biden doesn’t pass laws on his own.  It takes bipartisan support, especially when two democrats are holding the country hostage.

Ouch! Trump 2024 is a very real possibility. Either Trump or Tucker Carlson. I don’t think Biden can win a second term.

Why hasn’t Biden persuaded Breyer to step down from SCOTUS to select a younger liberal judge for the court?

At this point, they don't care about anything or anyone else but themselves.

Yeah but it's stupid though. They're taking themselves out of power too. Even if they retain their senate seats or whatever they'll be in the minority and powerless. Morons, I swear :toofunny:

I'm waiting for us to get over this inflation hill. If it could end before the 2022 election, that'd be great.

The chicken my grandma likes to buy at the grocery store usually costs between $9 and $10 depending on the exact weight. It was $29 last night :air:

And people in general aren't smart enough to understand all the ins and outs of consumer demand and supply problems (even I can't, I just know Biden bears little responsibility for the current situation) so they'll blame the guy in charge.

Have they though? I'm pretty sure a large majority of Republicans want Trump to run again. They've done polls about it.

I think that’s because there hasn’t been a true campaign yet so no one’s been able to show how they’re the more relevant person to the party rn let’s not forget how disgusted people were that first Biden-trump debate that just descended into mud-slinging. And a large number of Trump voters hate his demeanor and have the basically plug their nose and look away because they otherwise agree with him. I really think the second the GOP gets someone out front with more “decorum” they’ll have a problem. There’s two Trump camps between those who love his attitude and those who tolerate it. But the difference now is that there’s plenty of more typical statesman with Trump-like policies. So I think Trump doesn’t have a shot, really, but his policies do. By the time election rolls around he’ll have been years out of office and the political world moves fast. Trump laid the foundation for a more capable ghoul to get to the White House, basically; his **** doesn’t end with him and so he in all likelihood won’t be the one to keep it going either.

He’s still that loser trying to be relevant in high society; they may have latched onto his ideas but someone of their ilk will take those positions going forward. Someone more immediately palatable to people in general.

FACTS MATTER. Go Biden!

Over the first 3 years of the Trump administration, riding the coattails of his predecessor’s economy, Donald Trump created 4.7M new jobs. It then collapsed to a net loss of -2.7M jobs, due to his bungling of the Covid pandemic.

.

In just 10 months, the Biden administration has created 5.6M new jobs.

.

In the first 3 months of his presidency, Donald Trump created 500k jobs.

.

In the first 3 months of his presidency, Joe Biden created three times as many: 1.5M jobs.

.

Though the vaccines were created under the Trump administration’s Warp Speed initiative, Trump promised by the the end of 2020, 35M Americans would be fully vaccinated, 50M by Inauguration Day. Only 13.5M Americans had been vaccinated by Inauguration Day 2021, about 4% of the population—due entirely to the lackluster, incompetent efforts in distribution by the Trump administration. A pandemic which has thus far resulted in 750k American deaths—300k of which could have been prevented had the Trump administration not botched it.

.

Ten months later, 192M Americans have now been fully vaccinated. 58.3% of the population.

.

For 4 years, Donald Trump promised to introduce a new, comprehensive “TrumpCare,” that would replace ObamaCare. He never did.

.

For 4 years, Donald Trump promised to introduce a comprehensive infrastructure plan. He never did.

.

Joe Biden and Congressional Democrats passed a sweeping infrastructure bill in 10 months.

.

For 4 years, Donald Trump promised to end the war in Afghanistan. He never did. Instead, when Joe Biden ended the war, Donald Trump criticized him for doing so.

.

For 4 years, Donald Trump promised to create “Jobs, jobs, jobs.” Instead, he oversaw a net loss of -2.7M jobs, jobs, jobs.

.

Joe Biden has thus far created 5.6M jobs in just 10 months.

.

Donald Trump promised “If Joe Biden wins, the stock market will crash. Believe me!”

.

The Dow Jones is at its highest point in history.

.

The Trump administration’s 2020 campaign slogan was “Promises Made, Promises Kept.”

.

Which just proves that not even their slogans are fact-based, let alone their policies.”

GOP maybe but personally I don’t think Trump could do it again. The party actually has moved past him to people even more capable without the “drama” that people had to plug their noses at at the ballot box

I remember when Trump announced his bid and everybody laughed. All I'm saying is we doubted him once before.

People would be unhappy with anyone they put in office. The little rats just want Trump.

I'm sorry to all Americans here, but I think Trump (or worse) is what Americans in general deserve for their dumb behaviour.

For a nation that's not socialist, they sure expect a lot of handholding and babysitting from the government, and then get pikachu_shocked.jpg when it doesn't happen because they somehow think socialism is communism, and communism is a devil's thing.

The only part that concerns me is the influence that American politics have over the rest of the world.

That's because socialism is taught to the actual definition of communism in high school. It's not "somehow".

The cherry picking is hard in this one. Biden didn't "create" jobs. The economy is "normalizing" and jobs are being recovered. Indexes, despite dips and recessions, have always trended upwards (due to inflation and comapnies' primary goal of driving profit). I'm not saying these aren't good things, but taking numbers out of context, anyone could frame just about anything and doing so in this manner is very Fox News of you.

Of course they have, their "presidency" has been an abysmal embarrassment so far.

You remind me that it's such a wonderful thing to love.

I mean, I think he shocked himself that time hahahaha I just think the party has moved past him. He tapped into something but I think it’s outgrown the man himself. If he *did* win again I honestly doubt would see the same loyalty or even vitriol. He captured a very particular moment in time, but time moves while Trump himself is kind of a stagnant figure. He’s been the same for like 40 years lmao
