uo111 5,265
You can’t blame a crowd for what happened, there is no way for them to stop it. You can blame the people who caused the crowd to behave in that way and HAD THE POWER TO STOP IT AT ANY TIME, though. This is murder as far as I’m concerned and stans defending it are disturbing to me.
Ronk 14,762
So sad for the people who were killed at Astroworld. A truly devastating tragedy. Any event where there are many people can have people crushed to death in a surge. Woody Guthrie tells of a well documented event where more than 400 people in a hall tried to get out when someone yelled "fire" but the door wouldn't open. There was no fire. The people were crushed to death. 73 people, including 59 children, were killed. This sounds like fiction, but it actually happened. I live outside the space time continuum. Teletubby 150,856
Houston Chronicle reports that for 37 minutes after Houston officials declared Astroworld Fest a “mass casualty" event, Travis Scott kept performing. Live Nation agreed to cut show short but concert attendees said Scott appeared to play his whole set and finished at 10:15 p.m. Houston Police Chief also said he could not have abruptly ended the show for fear of sparking a riot his department could not control. KORG 4,756
Imagine if there was a bomb threat and the millionaires felt a tiny bit at risk. The show would stop. These "artists" are trash humans.

Teletubby 150,856
Astroworld security guard not injected with drugs An attorney for rapper Travis Scott released a statement Thursday attacking the Houston chief of police for “finger pointing” and “backtracking” on information surrounding Astroworld Festival. Lawyer Edwin F. McPherson called out Houston Police Chief Troy Finner, for first placing blame on the deadly crowd surge on the size and age of the audience and then saying “the responsibility to stop the show falls on Travis,” McPherson claimed that per the festival’s operations plan, “only the festival director and executive producers have authority to stop the show, neither of which is part of Travis's crew,” and pointed out that Houston police “shut down the power and sound at this very festival when the performance ran over 5 minutes back in 2019.” source "You b*tch!" ~ Rat Boy
