Its sad that Travis Nor Drake decided to stop everything and secure everyone was safe. No they thought this was gonna be a viral moment for their concert. Yeah viral in the worst of ways. People should be going in hard on them for their lack of awareness and also for their choice of filling up a venue with 50k people during a pandemic.

Bot to make light of this but I would not be surprised if this makes it onto an episode of American horror story.

So disgusting. I hope the lot of the organizers, venue  and even the medical responders and Travis Scott are sued for everything they own and will ever own.  Criminal charges with jail time should be filed as well, imo. That concert should have been stopped at the first death at least for a long, long intermission and to get people medical attention and off the dang ground, imo. Hard to believe this is even real. :creepflop:

The article says 8 young people are dead. It also says the concert continued for almost an hour after being declared a mass casualty incident. Texas with all their big talk and gun toting couldn't figure out how to stop a concert where 8 people died. It's deplorable.

Looks like people destroyed the security checkpoint in this video.

Let's not get too ahead of ourselves.

Cardiac arrest can be, and is often, caused by serious trauma to the body. This is known as Traumatic cardiac arrest (TCA). What that means is basically some external thing has caused the heart to stop beating due to blunt or penetrating trauma. In a rush of people in a crowd this large, it does not take much to get knocked to the ground. If you're on the ground in a stampede of thousands of people, you will be violently kicked and bashed around and sustain injuries comparable to that of a car accident or falling from a great height. If this continues for a sustained period of time, your body can only handle so much. The official cause of death will be cardiac arrest, but the manner of death would be being trampled. The cardiac arrest is just the body's response to the trampling.

I think I have never seen anything like this before... That alone was enough to stop the concert and take all the people out of there. I hope someone takes HUGE responsability for this

This would never happen at a Lady Gaga concert. As soon as there would be ambulance visable, she would pause the concert. Rightfully so Travis and Drake should receive harsh consequences, not only online cancellation on twitter but judicial consequences. I don't wanna know how much people paid for this concert. Their job should be to entertain ppl not killing them... This is so wrong, thoughts to the families.

I’m not but for my bio 2 class I had to do a research paper on the body’s natural processes in relation to trauma and while scenarios like this was not what I dove into, it’s the same concept.

I didn't want to jump to conclusions but after seeing this I've come to realise that Travis is an absolute ****.

So sad.

I’m seeing the conspiracy theories online now and my blood is boiling. Literally scum of the earth to think this was a ritual.

I had to stop scrolling the internet last night cause I was getting so mad.

I've been to many festivals in Europe I never felt like in danger. Everybody was respectful and kind. But somehow I am loosing hope for humanity in the US after all what I'm seeing in recent years. There are some groups of people who are so brainwashed and disrespectful I am even scared to go to the US.

I'm not having fun tonight.

Crowd crushes happen everywhere in the world and plenty have died outside of the US because of them.
