LunaUniverse 3,950
This is so ****ed up on so many levels. Very depressing that innocent people expecting to have fun had to suffer/lose a family member because security don’t have a clue of doing their own job correctly. You never know when your time could be up because of someone’s lack of common sense, and I think that’s the scariest thing about this world. 1# Samoyed Stan
Butters Stotch 5,364
This is literally my biggest fear when I went to Beyonce's concert in Caracas, I was in whe middle of the crowd and started feeling dizzy. Being surrounded by so many people triggered this kind of anxiety and I started thinking that if I tried to leave I was not going to be able to do so, so I felt "trapped" and started pushing people to go out of the crowd when I finally was out of the crowd I laid on the floor and felt like I could breath again. Ever since that day I've felt recurring fear of multitudes. This is horrible, imagine being surrounded by 50.000 people and you feel like you can't breathe and you can do nothing an no one can help you... so sad, so horrible. BUtterfield 8 41,509
This is exactly why I no longer go to concerts where a seating option isn’t available I could handle standing only concerts when I was a teen but now that I’m in my mid 20s I need to be able to to have a seat just in case of an emergency I mean even when I’m in a seating concert all of us still stand up but you never know if you need to sit down for a second to do something on our phone, if something falls, etc The last standing only concert I went to was for Meghan Trainor a few years ago and it was fun and by a pier so it wasn’t that hot

So I put my head up to get some air, and was crying and decided to ****ing leave the crowd and thank god my tickets had seats options if some seats were available. But also when you go in the crowd like that you have to wake up early and queue up. I was in the queue outside for hours and hours when I arrived i was exhausted my legs were exhausted on top of it. I really don't know how people enjoy being in a crowd. Ever since that happened i picked seats and it's so much better. I do my makeup and dress up 1 hour before the concert, i order food, i sit down and drink and take pics of myself, while waiting. Meanwhile everyone is getting near the stage but they got there for 8 hours before, they r exhausted, and they have to stand up again to wait and then for the concert. I'd rather enjoy my coke, and my fries all fresh out the shower, sitting comfortably and then the concert starts and i can dance and move freely and have my seat secured, even if i need to go to pee, my seat and view is secure. These people think they are so "cool". Same people who make fun of teen girls or gay people who enjoy pop shows and enjoy it in peace and would be the first to be distraught and stop a show if there were deaths, + a 10 year old kid. So "edgy", so "cool" of you to not make way for the ambulance, wow **** off. Should be sued, all of them and Travis Scott for this terrible criminal behavior. dove 533
This is so sad. I read that people were begging the crew operating the stage lights around them to stop the concert and they wouldn't. I felt so bad reading this, It's so horrible to be this helpless surrounded by so many people pushing you. In my one and only concert (BTWB) I had made it to the part around the monster pit so I was the first in line against the stage. People started arriving and suddenly I was behind a sea of people. They started pushing and it got so bad that for a second I was being held against the bar with my feet off the ground. It was getting hard to breath too. Gaga wouldn't show up until hours later and the sun was on its peak, it felt like breathing inside a hot shower or sauna. I panicked and was so desperated that I had to kinda kneel and leave breaking through people's legs. A guy even passed out so they had to push him up and drag him overhead from person to person. It was the guy dressed with the yellow suit from the paparazzi video if anyone from Chile is reading this and saw this happening. It's an awful feeling!! Luc 4,775
What a tragedy. And I don't know if it's appropriate to say this, but it's exemplary for the state of the world. Climate crisis and pandemic, even when people are dying in front of you - the show must go on.
