More exciting role for you: Ally Maine vs Patricia Gucci?

I'm not talking about the amount of promotion, since A Star Is Born would obliterate House of Gucci on that. (Btw I believe the late promotion of House of Gucci is a wonderful thing. It avoids the movie from peaking too early like Respect and The Eyes of Tammy Faye did.)

Which role are/were you more excited to watch?

Ally Maine or Patricia Reggiani?

Ally Maine just because it was her first feature film, and wanted to see how she went - which she blew out of the park obvs.

Patricia is a more interesting character to me though.

I was excited for ASIB because of the soundtrack, the movie was an addition, but seeing trailers of HOG really makes me want to see har nail the acting!

Ally was kinda bland  Patrizia looks way more interesting personality wise

Patrizia because that role gives her a lot more to work with acting wise. Ally was cool but I don’t think it was much of a challenge for her. Roles that are unique and removed from music will make her a better actress imo and are more interesting to me personally.

Not at yall slandering Ally Maine like this which was a very nuanced and subtly portrayed character. 

Ally made the audience cry, Ally won Grammys (both in fiction and in real life), Ally made us remember love that way, Ally made Jackson hard, she is not bland.

For me, Ally Maine was more exciting for me cause it was her first role, there was going to be incredible music, and Bradley is my favourite actor in the world.

The chemistry between Driver and Gaga doesn't exude as much as the one between Bradley and Gaga, but perhaps it's for the better cause this really is Gaga's show, whereas ASIB was shared between Brad and Gaga.
