To me, Marry The Night is definitely one of the most powerful songs I‘ve ever heard. The energy that the song radiates is actually insane. Earlier today I could literally feel the adrenaline rushing through my body while listening to it. That power combined with that immaculate production and Gaga‘s vocals is what makes this song so special to me Gaga‘s vocal delivery on this one is literally top notch. The way it starts off with just her vocals and that organ (I think is what it is?), then just slowly builds and builds into the powerhouse that it becomes. The second verse also back to mostly her vocals, but with that heart pounding bass drum and a few more instruments, perfection. And of course the last part of the song, like you said with her belting it out. And the video adds a whole other layer of genius to the already amazing song. I just love it so much! I've been a LM since day one but didn't have much interest in Gaga anymore at the beginning of the year. BUT. THIS SONG. (And the entire BTW Album) brought me so much power during this hard time. I couldn't stop listening to it. I had to marry my new insecurity abt my diagnosed illness in a way and it made me relate in this way (and many others too). It was the first song I listened to when I was out ... and I JUST RAN when I was going on a walk with my dog. It was freeing... a wonderful memory. The musicvideo too.. it's the most perfect thing I've ever seen and I really can't stop watching it. I related to the scene at the hospital,her overall furstration, sadness, anger and THAT POWER she gives out. ;; damn. I'm close to tears rn.
