Should/Would Gaga join the voice?

TIL that Morgan Wallen was on The Voice. I had no idea. (And my Google-fu tells me he wasn't even on Team Blake.)

I don't think any stars have emerged from it, but it's an entertaining show. Idol has had much better success in terms of the contestants' careers, however.

To answer the OP: Gaga would be an excellent coach and probably continue working with her mentees behind the scenes. Considering that Ari is now on it, anything is possible –– maybe if Gaga has kids and wants something stable and lucrative that is based in L.A. it would be a good gig for her, but I don't see her doing it just yet.

the winners are already chosen to win before the show even starts. They sabotage and emotionally abuse other participants to get reactions to improve rating.

Do they really? I was just watching the show last night and I was enjoying it. Then one of the contestants went on the show, preformed and when she went to pick her coach i was thinking to myself how fake it looked when she was "deciding". I watched the show since i was young and I am sad to hear this.

Your either on my side, by my side, or in my ****ing way. Choose Wisely.

hopefully not

it's all about the money for people who run it and it's mostly about promoting yourself for the judges

not about giving talented people a platform

+it's all set up to get as many views as possible

that's why more entertaining people stay longer and the talented ones go home

and that's why after the show ends and you need to make some real music, most of the winners disappear

because there's no vision in them whatsoever

red wine, cheap perfume and a filthy pout

I think it'll benefit her more if she joins a TV /Netflix series or start making her way into Broadway scene for that Tony Award :ally:

this.

I find these kinds of shows super tacky, and even though the stigma appears to be completely gone with how many pop girls have been judges (Mariah Carey, Britney, Katy, Ariana, Nicki, JLo, Shakira, Miley, Kelly, Xtina), I still wouldn't want Gaga to do it. It just feels beneath her. I think her Vegas residency fulfills the same niche that this show would. These kinds of talent shows are also a dying breed, and I don't see how it would benefit her career in any way aside from being a nice paycheck. That's the main reason I can't see her ever doing something like this – Gaga has never done passive projects. She's always involved, in control, advancing her artistry in some way. Shows like this do nothing for her artistic progression.

BUT I would absolutely love to see her in a streaming show for a few seasons, even if it wasn't in a main role. I could see her killing it in a show like The Crown, Queen's Gambit, White Lotus, Mare of Easttown, etc.

If she wants to, cant control her but I think it's a cheap move

I'm sorry but i can't see Ariana the same for example right now, on top of it she said shes gonna do a duet with Demi. Idk now she's kinda in the category of "losers" which is weird cause she's very very successful but for me The Voice is for losers, Kelly Clarkson's music career is dead, John Legend...Well...Blake whatever hm who si that? I guess it's not true Nicki got in there too, she's still successful well maybe won't be anymore, and Mariah was and is a legend still now, but for me it has this connotation of people who just are taking a break with their career and are transitionning in some ways into something else... I make zero sense Im realizing there's no logic in it, it'sjust me and my perception :poot:

Well... I'm not sure if this would be a good career path and usually people choose this when they don't have other opportunities :huntyga: nah I'm kidding...

I don't know how I'd feel about it, but I know I would definitely watch it. :vegas:

Those shows are usually pretty fake. There's a narrative they build around the contestants, and at the end they pick the winner.

I doubt Gaga would participate of that. She's not that type of person.

The real question is... Is there room for Gaga on The Voice? 🤔

They need a Country singer, a Black singer, a Young (20s) singer.

There's NO room for a white female singer Gaga's age (30s) or older, unless they fire Kelly (who has a popular talk show, also on NBC).

It's perfect for Ariana who got married recently. She's huge and has 250M+ followers on IG. She can stay as long as she wants, I guess.

It's a cushy gig. Ariana reportedly makes more money per episode than Gaga does per show in Vegas.

Vegas is HARD work compared to The Voice, ice baths and all, but she gets to perform for her fans.

My first reaction was no. Because I've never seen her fighting for talent like they do when picking a team. But she would probably be fine. Not sure if there would be good chemistry with the others. They would probably do a screen test and see how it goes. It seems unscripted, but there is probably more preparation than what we see, like rehearsals, I would assume.
