It takes the original DNA and amps it up with two new notes: Ambroxan and Dry Cashmeran. These two notes give me a little *wink wink* to what it’s trying to do. Cloud has been compared to MFK’s BR540 ever since it came out and with this new Intense flanker I’m assuming they’re gonna lean into that comparison with the Ambroxan mimicking the Ambergris and the cashmeran mimicking the Amberwood and (maybe) Saffron found in BR540. So if the original is a dupe for the Maison Francis Kurdijan Baccarat Rouge 540 (say that five times in a row in its original extra pretentious french accent without getting mouth spaghetti), this is probably a dupe for the Baccarat Rouge 540 Extrait I swear ever since I first smelled the BR540 my nose has picked up almost every other person I see on the road wearing this. That’s what I’m assuming as well. I have a decant of the extrait (I don’t like the EDP) and I basically used it all up. I’m gonna buy a 70ml of the Extrait as soon as my next check hits tbh. also SAME. Ever since I started collecting fragrances it was crazy how easy I started picking up fragrances around me. I wish she would make an intense with a strong powdery musk to replicate a more realistic marshmallow scent. It would up it so so much and make it last longer too.
