That was her job, and it was what she did - nothing self-serving about that. Um, no, she was there to promote the release of Madame X on Paramount+. killerstiletto 185
Oh my. I'm sad that she went that overboard with the photoshop, but more sad that she felt she had to. Dance!
Guest
oh my gosh... This made me sad. I would've kept eye wrinkles, the crossfeets ones, and i wouldnt get cheek implants, instead i would do a fat transfer to my face, id keep a lil bit of nasolabial fold wrinkle and remove excessive ones, i would use lip filler to plump them up, neck lift, and that's literally it. She would look so much more beautiful and gracious, this to me it's horrifying, just horrifying but she seems very happy and its what matters

I always see so many french women who look very very pretty, but they have wrinkles, to me what looks good is when ur skin is still firm but u have wrinkles here and there, u look good and fresh, but when u try to remove every single wrinkle it looks uncanny and a bit extrateresstrial, so the strategy is to keep the skin firm and keep a few wrinkles and people will think wow u age so naturally well but u actually had work done To me Jessica Lange looks so oso so gorgeous

No one called people ageist for thinking Michael Jackson went too far with the plastic surgery. Ageism is dictating what people should do because of their age, it does not mean not being comfortable with yourself aging. For exampe society wanting old people to age gracefully, step aside, accept aging, embrace wrinkles, behave like an old person etc. is ageism. Ageism is easy to define - discrimination or prejudice based on someone's age. A better example is not hiring someone for their age, or judging them for their age. Neither of those things are happening here. Again, when Michael Jackson was attacked relentlessly for his bizarre plastic surgery choices, not a single person called it ageism. No, you're trying to change the definition so that older people can't be criticized at all. It's absurd.

It's absurd. I don’t think anyone is saying that Madonna can’t be critiqued, but a bunch of most likely under 30s dictating what a 63yo should do with their face or how they choose to age is ageist. Until we’re in our 60s we dont how it feels to look back on our gorgeous youthful selves and still yearn for that, especially if you’re someone like Madonna Not the bore worms! It's absurd. I'm not trying to change the definition but you are narrowing it down. I think you should accept what you have written is ageist statement and learn from your mistake. Ageism is not just discrimination, it also includes stereotyping and other forms. For example, expecting woman to be vamp, show their skin, dress mini skirts etc. is a form of sexism as well as not hiring someone because of their sex. This also applies to ageism. Expecting a person to act their age, dictating how they should age, how many wrinkles they show should show on theiri face and so on.

Bling 31,288
@PartySick @Admincan we lock this thread please? This is just cruel and unnecessary. Tearing down women, but specifically, women of a certain age in Hollywood. Not surprised but definitely not needed. discord.gg/hausofmayhem 1 Year and 1000+ Members!
