Lana Del Rey is working on new music (again)

She seems to be working on the American Standards & Classics. She announced this project for last Christmas, but ended up being postponed and never talked about again. Until now.

Insiders have claimed she's been working on new music after finishing Blue Banisters. Her managers have also hinted at a double album release, or at least another album out later this year.

I mean she is directly referring to it as a covers album

she is EXTREMELY succesfull. She might nit be selling like Olivia or Dua for she is super consistent with her sales. No wonder her label is always supoorting all her projects.

Basically her name alone is enough to sell, they don't even invest that much in marketing.

absolutely. to not make music that fits in the "pop landscape" and still get #2 and #3 debuts is just incredible.

she did an amazing job this last 10 years in building an image while staying 100% true to herself and her fans. She might be the most authentic artist out there. 

People respect her and are extremely loyal and supportive to her projects.

.... she means singing covers, not album artwork

 since when is a cover album of folk songs (i.e. a folk cover album, like I wrote) not a cover album?    In the NME interview she mentioned both cover album projects: american standards covers, and folk covers. If you're gonna come for my facts, please do the research first

Thanks but no thanks. Releasing album after album or barely different music isn’t what I need. I love Lana but barely listened to the last album and now waiting to see if the new one keeps my interest. I feel more “blessed” with what Gaga gives us, true diversity each time. We got DOC, HOG, L4S and more coming.
