Gaga has been really unpredictable for met gala, it doesn’t seem to be an event for her to attend each year, since she’s walked on the red carpet only 3 times and performed one. 

she’s missed so many themes that  are literally parts of her career, and would make her stand out from everyone like : Catholicism, technology, commes de garçons, Alexander McQueen 

so it could be a unexpected toned down attendance like 2016 or most likely she won’t attend.
