proxy 851
Voyage has received more than 80,000 pre-orders in the UK alone since Friday – four times the current number one album, Donda, by Kanye West – and a record for their long-time label Universal Music UK. https://inews.co.uk/culture/music/abba-album-voyage-sales-pre-order-universal-music-uk-history-1185692?ito=twitter_share_article-top

Reject False Icons 4,777
Amused that they are doing well in the ageist, quick forgettable hits music industry. also despite of their fortunes they and their label have to pay the massive promo they are having: Billboards, social media, even tik tok. In a way that it’s not cringy Also those extremely detailed avatars must not be cheap

In a way that it’s not cringy Also those extremely detailed avatars must not be cheap I may be a little biased given they are my fav musical act of all time (even more than Gaga)... But I think ABBA left a very special mark on fans and music few legends do... For decades as they disapeared we continued to have musicals, plays, movies with their music as the bass... covers of their music by others such as Cher or ATEENS etc I think the fact that for a long time they remained relevant in culture but not thru thenselves and now they are finally making a comeback themselves after all these decades its bound to create some hype I suspect many other legends that left a bigger mark than most if they mostly disapeared for 40 years then made a comeback... there would be a lot of hype for them too
