i could get a barbell for home use but the thing is my left side was significantly weaker than right side. so i use dumbbells to balance it out. and they arent fully equal but close now. i think that if i use barbell then the right side would take over and do major work since its already the stronger side

I hope the exit is joyful and i hope never to return.

Which is perfectly fine and as some one who's battled with ED I can respect you for that but your delivery was just not it. Instead of pointing out that it's okay to not look like that, it came across as you shaming KJ for his looks which is the damaging sort of thing you were trying to point out is wrong

I'm not sure. The key to muscle and strength growth is progression. Every time you train, you need to do a little more than the last time. Squat 50kg with 4 sets of 5 reps this week? Then try 52.5kg next time, or 4 sets of 6 reps. A gym has more material and thus makes it easier to progress like that. But ofc it's possible to find alternatives at home that work. Maybe you'd be interested in calisthenics?
