Girls and gays have been battling for their lives ever since Chromatica came out, and still can't seem to decide, which version of Babylon is the best version of Babylon? Is it Babylon? Babylon? Or Babylon? Or could it be... Babylon?

Personally I think none of them come close to the album version. The choir, the horns, the chords, it's a perfect anthem and the only thing it's missing is 3 more minutes of it.

Bree adds umph to Babylon, but I prefer the production of the album version. Bree was my favorite feature from the album.

Personally found the bree version embarrassingly bland next to the OG. Babylon is the perfect voguing song and it's so powerful and all she did was slap her name annoyingly at the front of it, take out the voguing element in the beat, and put her vocals over the choir in the end which I found arrogant and in poor taste tbh . To me, babylon did not need a rap verse. The rap that added something to chromatica imo is Ashhniko's cause it made the song FUN and it needed that. 

 

PS: also to the ppl whining about the bowie sample, i m pretty sure i caught it in the haus labs version twice, once in the prechorus and once again later, though it's not as obvious but the rhythm is there. I thought that was the funner remix by farrrr

Album version is one of her best ever. It’s an absolute God-tier Gaga song, couldn’t be more perfect. I love all the remixes though - I can’t get enough of Babylon so the more versions the better!
