After almost 10 hours of listening to this album I'm still amazed how great Dorian did! It really doesn't happen often (or at all) that I feel like someone else's vocals fit the song better than the original one, BUT IT SOUNDS LIKE THIS SONG WAS MADE FOR DORIAN! And the second drop with electric guitar instead of the beat... I'm speechles how amazing thats is!

Yessss! If 1st place belongs to Free Woman, Replay must be second!

Wow y’all have me scared for Arcas ROM I was so hyped but y’all make it sound like a train wreck.. hopefully y’all’s taste is just mainstream

i knew this album would divide LM’s you either love hyperpop or you hate it, I love it so I’m sure I will gag for DOW:pawsup:

I believe most people here are indeed mainstream, but even so… Arca’s remix is just weird to me. There are some highlights, but some parts sound too messy… idk how to explain. There are some glitchy noises that make the song sound poorly mixed.

I don’t wanna ‘flame bait’ so I’m just going to make it clear this is my OPINION, which I’d be interested to see if people share it.

This remix album is very lazy on Gaga’s part.

Well she didn't participate in remix album, so.

Sugar, spice, and everything nice.

For me Replay is #1, but Free Woman is a very close second, and it comes from the main hater of original FW :vegas:

I've been getting messages from my deep waters

Did Gaga have any input into any of this?

Obviously not. She was busy in Italy while it was being made.

I feel that ROM, Stupid Love and 1000 Doves remixes will be a bit underrated! Also deserve fan love :tony:

Ugh there are so many great pieces here

It’s more of a Remix compilation than a remix album.

when I think remix album I think Mariah’s Angels Advocate, where the artist re-imagines the songs.

I see what you mean, it was not what I expected at all but this remix is beautiful. As people said already it is the most euphoric song on this album without the drums and percussion being the focus like most tracks.

And I don't mean to be rude but saying that an Arca track is poorly mixed because of glitchy sounds... 👀 Arca is one of the most talented sound designers ever - if something sounds glitchy it is because she wanted it to sound this way.

okay

me listening to Haus labs

woman-pen.gif

The only ones I'll be listening to again are:

1. Free Woman

2. Sour Candy (my fav)

3. Enigma

4. Babylon (bree remix)

I'm just not a hyper pop fan, it's too grating. But nevertheless, I'm happy for everyone who loves this kind of music, but it's not for me

I loved the last minute of SFA though, sounded very drum n bass'y which I like

overall, a cute addition to her discography, everyone involved is super talented :applause:
