For those of us who also use Apple Music, here are the playlists that feature tracks from Dawn of Chromatica. So far only the Alice, 911 and Enigma remixes have been thrown in (911 for obvious reasons to help promote Charli). Enjoy!

Alice - 7/10 - It's definitely not as bad or boring as people have said on here (in my opinion). What I will say is that this reimagining of Alice just isn't what the majority of us would have expected. Plus, there wasn't like any new lyrics or anything added so it feels just a little incomplete still. But if you peel away the expectations of what it should have been, what we ended up getting is enjoyable.

Stupid Love - 6/10 - Okay. So, Stupid Love isn't my favorite song in the first place but this remix is enjoyable. I love the production as it adds a little something spicy to an otherwise just okay song. I can see why (again) some people may not be happy with it as its production is similar to Alice.

Rain on Me - 7/10 - So, Rain on Me has a lot to live up to seeing as the original track is all energy and is the high point of the era. That being said, it doesn't quite deliver everything yet is still a lot of fun to listen to. IDK. I imagine this being a lot better if you were like high or something. It even reminds me of something that may have been on an Above & Beyond CD back in the day.

Free Woman - 8/10- So, I'm not sure why everyone is losing themselves over this one because It's not nearly as good as some of you make it out to be (in my opinion). It's still the best song at this point on the album. It manages to keep the same energy as the original but reimagined with something extra. It's the first song on this album that really feels like it's living up to the expectations we all had.

Fun Tonight - 8/10 - So, it's an odd change from Free Woman before it. BUT I love Fun Tonight and so the remix being so highly rated doesn't surprise me. It still has that tinge of melancholy that the track is all about. The more latin sound if you will is so welcomed at this point in the album and also for me personally. After the past two tracks, it really feels like the album is gearing up for something special.

911 - 9/10 - Anyone familiar with AG Cook could tell you it was AG Cook within 15 seconds of the song starting. I was kinda bummed Charli was on 911 because it's not the song *I* would choose for her but the end result is a blast. But gotta be honest, I spend the first half of the song just wondering when Charli's coming in. And when she does, she eats it up. It's the best part of the song. In fact, I kind of wish Charli had an entire solo song with the 911 mix. But that being said, I still love this one quite a lot.

Plastic Doll - 8/10 - Plastic Doll lives up to the last several songs at this point. It's just a whole lot of fun. It's another one of the remixes where something was reimagined and something more was added to it to enhance the track. Again, I still wonder why so many of you praise it as much as you do but opinions are opinions.

Sour Candy - 10/10 - So, let's talk. This was the first song that I was BEYOND myself. This song is so much more sexy with this remix. It's much more edgy to me and it's absolute bliss to listen to. It's my first 10 for the album and that's saying something considering sour candy isn't my favorite song on the original album.

Enigma - 8/10 - THIS. So, it's kind of crazy because I'm not the biggest fan of Enigma either. But this remix was GREAT. And I didn't expect it to be, and even the start of it doesn't lead you to believe that it would be either. But the track just evolves and when that grimy beat kicks in, it's just near perfection.

Replay - 10/10 - Okay. Replay is like my favorite song on the album. Expectations are high. And then seeing all the love for it, the expectations totally reached a fever pitch. I was kind of nervous about listening to it. BUT. let me tell you that this song is EVERYTHING. PERIOD. DOT. COM. Dorian ate it up. Was a perfect song.

Sine from Above - 10/10 - Sine, being the most chaotic song on the original, had a lot to live up to. It did not disappoint in the slightest. It's just a good time. It keeps up with the energy from Replay which is a challenge. And it's so funny because the album started off just okay and just gets better and better as you go along with few down spots in between.

1000 Doves - 6/10 - This isn't my favorite song in the world. Neither on this album or the original. There's nothing wrong with it. It's enjoyable. Would be a good song to play on shuffle and in the background. Definitely a low spot after the joy of Replay & Sine.

Babylon Bree - 7/10 - So, who doesn't love Babylon? After all the versions,  speculations, etc. So, it's fun for the various versions of the song to come to light. It's okay. I wouldn't call it special, but it's better than the worst of the rest on the album.

Babylon HL - 7/10 - Slightly disappointing (overall). I mean. I'm glad that we got to hear this version because we usually get teased something and we then never get to see the light of day of whatever it is. You can see *why* the album version made it to the album but that beat on this version is just too delightful not to be heard. But Babylon is a fun song and so is this one when you peel off a bit of the layers of anticipation and excitement about it.

So average of like 7.9 or thereabouts. Sounds about right.

10 - Sour Candy, Replay & Sine from Above

9 - 911

8 - Free Woman, Fun Tonight, Plastic Doll, Enigma

7- Alice, Rain on Me, Babylon Bree, Babylon HL

6- Stupid Love, 1000 Doves

Hm hard pass on this one. I just listened to the full thing and I honestly expected more.

All the tracks are extremely short to begin with and to add I barely know anyone besides Charli XCX.

If Dua Lipa can get artists like Mark Ronson, Madonna, Missy E, Gwen Stefani, ... why didn't Gags?

I would've died for a Gaga x Miley remix for example, imagine if she did remixes with The Weeknd, Lil Nas, ...

I am sure people love it but this one simply isn't for me.

That'd been quite a basic album. To be honest Free Woman with Rina is so much better than anything they could've done with something like Gaga feat. Doja Cat, Megan Thee Stallion, Doja Cat or Nicki Minaj.

This is Gaga we're talking about, she could've gotten anyone she wanted but the focus of it is the celebration of young talented artists who wanted to put their own spin to the songs we already love.

I like the remix album, especially compared to previous remix albums. But strangely enough I find it very difficult to focus on a song or remember songs, so nothing stood out as bad or good per se so far to me. I do really like the SFA outtro though.

Free Woman and Replay are top tier. :legend:Rina and Gaga sound amazing together. I hope we get an original track with them someday. Like others said, the original felt like was missing something and now it feels complete. The oh-oh-ohoh-oh-ohs were a great touch. :music:

Replay was intense. I was into the vaguelly gothy TFM meets ARTPOP vibe. Would definitely be interested in seeing Gaga work with Dorian Electra again.

I really loved the more chill remixes - Stupid Love, Sour Candy, 1000 Doves (HUGE upgrade considering how boring I found the OG - planningtorock did great here). SL and SC became stylish, sexy and cool. Shygirl has such a smooth voice, will definitely be checking out her stuff from now on. All 3 are better than their predessesors. I feel like Stupid Love and 1000 Doves in particular weirdly aren't getting the love they deserve. I was taken by surprise at how good they were when I hadn't seen much mention of them yesterday when everyone had their VPNs listening to the New Zealand release.

Alice, Enigma, and Fun Tonight all fall into the tier of "not my fave, but I respect what you're doing "

911 is perfect. Charli turned this into something completely new and sublime, and I love her new verse.

Babylon is also miles better than the OG. Will now be checking out Bree from now on. This is the only Babylon for me now.  :sara:

Plastic Doll is ok. I think I still prefer the 80s, super girly vibe of the original, but the remix is by no means bad. I liked some of the new elements she added.

Sine from Above is unexpectedly a fave. :toofunny: Kind of a mess, but it's fun. Love when Lil' Texas' solo kicks in and even the clown noises in the middle section. Had a sh1t week, and it made me smile.

The only one I didn't care for is Rain on Me. Sounded gorgeous with the Ariana vocals at first, but there was just something about it I couldn't get into. I didn't care for the structure. It's like it was just vibes, no real meat to it.

Overall, producer-wise, I would love to see her collab with Clarence Clarity, Dorian Electra, Jimmy Edger again. I think LSDXOXO could really do something interesting with her if they started from scratch.

It's always the ones with the most vanilla, basic taste that seem to think they hold the authority over what music is and isn't, it does make me chuckle. 😂 Taste is individual but the pattern continues that the basics always present their opinions as if they're straight facts.

And this is coming from someone who didn't like every track on the project either (disliked maybe 2 didn't click with me and I just wish there were more Gaga verses on Sour Candy and 911, but I get that the features wanted their moment), but let's just drop that snotty entitled attitude down a few notches maybe.

But if your spectrum is that small then I really don't understand where you believe you can tell others what defines "good" music.

Don't quote me, this isn't something that's up for debate really. 😂 I'm not coming for people if this album isn't their vibe, I'm coming for the many that believe they can define what music is when they expand their understanding very little.

Yeah, I'm suprised at some of the responses calling it noise. I mean, I'm not a hyperpop/pc music fan, and my music tastes are by no means esoteric, but I didn't find it that unpalatable. Sine from Above, yeah, I get that criticism, but the rest of it isn't that noisy.

Instead we got music from up-and-coming artists from different parts of the world, who all have a lot of love for Gaga, of a sub-genre so ripe though underrated, and who are all highly creative and actually pushes Gaga's music to limits we've all been hoping she'd go for.

With the exception of a few of the remixes, I think why I appreciate DoC is that it’s evident every rework was risky and I applaud Gaga trusting them with taking those risks and not sticking to something 100% mainstream and commercial. She could have told Bloodpop to get super famous DJs like Zedd, Afrojack, Skrillex, Tiesto, Martin Garrix to remix them. Instead she said this is the time for the new and upcoming faces to shine and share some of the spotlight. Queen of establishing legacies.
