PawsUpJago 1,956 Posted September 3, 2021 Share Posted September 3, 2021 It's always the ones with the most vanilla, basic taste that seem to think they hold the authority over what music is and isn't, it does make me chuckle. 😂 Taste is individual but the pattern continues that the basics always present their opinions as if they're straight facts. And this is coming from someone who didn't like every track on the project either (disliked maybe 2 didn't click with me and I just wish there were more Gaga verses on Sour Candy and 911, but I get that the features wanted their moment), but let's just drop that snotty entitled attitude down a few notches maybe. But if your spectrum is that small then I really don't understand where you believe you can tell others what defines "good" music. Don't quote me, this isn't something that's up for debate really. 😂 I'm not coming for people if this album isn't their vibe, I'm coming for the many that believe they can define what music is when they expand their understanding very little. Alice is different Stupid Love also Rain on Me is sonically so interesting, nowhere near as bad as they said. Free Woman is pop perfection. the one pop song on a heavy electronic record. 911 is also fun. Plastic Doll should have been longer. Sour Candy is also a highlight. An improvement on the original for me. Enigma also improved on the original. SFA is CRAAAY CRAAAY and I love it. 1000 Doves is one of my faves on the og and the remix captured the melancholy perfectly. It’s the cutest thing. Babylon Bree is a serve. Prompted me to look ha up. She sounds a little like SZA. now for the most famous or should I say (in)famous Haus Labs version. OMG Y’ALL JUST LOVE DRAMA.
