I mean original songs don't usually get featured in the trailer. They can always release it later and still see it with much success.

However, I feel like Gaga wants to be taken seriously as an actress and not always have her music interfere with her acting projects. Everytime she sings and acts in the same project people make a comparison between these two talents... it's why Ryan didn't let her do any musical numbers in AHS: Hotel and which I thought was wise.

Yeah it's no surprise that she is "involved" in her own movie's soundtrack. But that could mean anything.

This. I think it would be a bad move for her acting career in the long run to have a song attached to this movie, and I feel like she knows it too. That’s why I don’t believe this guy.

If the original song played before credits, it is eligible to be nominated for Oscars.

Otherwise, the song will be snubbed like that Madonna song, Masterpiece.

Which did not qualify for Oscar contention because of its placement a minute-and-a-half deep in the final credits. AMPAS rules require an end-credits song to be 'the first music cue' in those credits to qualify.
