THIS. I've been so emotional about it today, especially since I've loved and followed Ashnikko, Dorian, Charli, A.G. Cook, Ashnikko, and Shygirl for years. They used to be so small (besides Charli) with a cult following but this exposure is INSANE. It's also great exposure for this type of music (PC/hyperpop/alternative). I believe this is the first time a main pop girl, or any A-list artist will release music in this genre. I can totally picture it taking off and other artists following suit. PawsUpJago 1,956 Posted August 30, 2021 Share Posted August 30, 2021 ~Flyin' with some broken- Flyin' with some broken *ARMS*~ I think it's so cute and cool to see them change the vibe with the melody switch up, seems like the only one we've heard so far that really messes with the melodic structure of the original (but I think in a good way). And I can definitely still hear the clean Gaga lead vocal just with the chipmunk vocals layered behind it The new melody and vibe gives me so much nostalgia but I can't really put my finger on what exactly. Yeah that's totally fair, the production and vibe of the original takes me back to listening to the Cher "Believe" album when I was about 5 years old haha.
