He also grew up in a super super religious family and was introduced to a lot of effed up stuff when he was young bc of that and his grandfather being an absolutely disgusting man (his autobiography is super exaggerated just for sh!ts n giggles but he confirmed the stuff bout his grandfather was true) so honestly, not surprised he had a fascination with really weird stuff

Im defending him regarding someone called him homophobe. That's not right.

Working with someone like that LATELY probes he is not hating gay people like some said earlier in this thread.

He is one of the few that supported LGBTQ+ people. I mean, he was gonna go on tour with Gaga. That's says a lot for being a rapper back in 2009.

Putting all bias aside the dude really has gone through a l o t of sh!t and his music, whether or not the man himself is good, is really amazing.

Mechanical animals is very David Bowie-Like with two characters. One alien that crash lands and is made into a glamorized rock star that partakes in dr!gs, s3x, and rock n roll basically. The stereotype of Hollywood fake. Then another alien that is just starting to feel human emotions and is basically the downfall of the first character.

holywood is an album about fictionalized Hollywood with the idea of “celebritarianism” where people worship celebrities like messiahs and have a certain fondness of celebrities like John Lennon, JFK, and a few others and hold them as “martyrs” to the word. Its also his comeback album from the Columbine accusations which made a few songs that call out (no kidding) the boomer generation for basically saying that kids are revolting in frustration from the last generations and how teenagers (of the time) were seen as nothing but herd for the slaughter, especially knowing what happened a year later in 2001 with 9/11 and the majority of soldiers going to war later on being young men.
