let me get this straight, those people getting the vaccines at the concert are the ones who haven't received a vaccine shot before (or maybe this would be their second shot). So they're still going to be at risk of contracting the virus because you're not getting the 97% protection until 2 weeks after the second dose. Wouldn't requiring proof of vaccination be a safer route?

This is the US; whatever way to get people vaccinated is a win.
