The remix album really kind of is more about following up on demand for the Babylon Early Version (possibly even from a interview  from Bloodpop but not sure). I feel more pessimistic about the tour every day, especially with the amount of variants increasing. I think we'll have to wait and see but I'm not counting on Gaga to promo the album or go on FN.

I hope we get new music with it though...I want a random stand alone pop song to debut there if possible. Kind of like the random release of The Cure.

If some insiders are to be believed the remix album was always planned. The era was supposed to be Chromatica > Remix album > Reissue with new songs. Blood confirmed right after launch that Babylon would be coming at some point for something "Special" and that there were plans to finish the Sophie tracks. Obviously the era has been changing constantly since then with things getting cancelled or delayed. But its hard to say what plans are just being followed through, what are totally new and what are gone fully.

Gaga will sell out either way. People were traveling from all over to see Enigma, and it was at one single location. This time she only has 6 dates Worldwide. She doesn't need to promote to sell them out. And if they were to promote to sell tickets there would have been some other collaborations this summer that wouldn't have been able to be moved, more than likely. But we saw nothing.
