Whatever it was, I think she has learned her lesson since then about believing people's stories, although it's probably one of the many things that's added to her trust issues. And also, the DWUW music video not being released was the best thing that happened to her and her career. We couldn't see this at the time, but in hindsight thank god.

I honestly that Troy is to blame tbh. I’m sure she wanted DWUW as a solo song at first but he pressured her to have R Kelly on it.

DJWS and Tara are R.Kelly stans and the idea is coming from them she gave her okay and Paul sent the song to R.Kelly who made his part in one night. She definitely knew about his reputation. Everybody knew. And she made that questionable music video. Troy is a terrible human being but not everything is up to him when it's about creative mistakes. She always loves to say she's the boss and she is when it's about creative process.

 

Anyway it's not about Lady Gaga. I'm not especially blaming her or anything. It's about that money craving music industry that gave him the possibility to have an influent job while being a sexual abuser and pedophile. An it's all about the long long list of executives, artists and producers who actually knew and closed their eyes (some of our fave artists and producers are part of those and that really sucks tbh)
