Well, it also doesn't help when you have media and organizations spending millions to weaponize any slight health hiccup while overlooking other people's in order to prevent a win. Come on. Neither Biden nor Bernie are in bad health nor was the media trying to portray Biden as "fit" and Bernie as "old." The media kept repeating the dumb dementia story over and over. I do think Bernie could push someone like Tammy Baldwin, though, if Biden only does one term. She's probably the most realistic chance of getting a progressive president and she has that whole midwestern vote locked down, and he's friends with her. gabeoz 7,915 Posted August 20, 2021 Share Posted August 20, 2021 I remember right before COVID when we were all there at his rally in San Antonio when all the news stations announced his win in NV and they livestreamed it right before he made his national speech Though like the article said, if Biden ran for re election (which he has said he fully intends to) he wont run, and he shouldnt. I do fear that 2024 would be the last opportunity for him, we really need another progressive-populist candidate to fill his shoes. I'd love for AOC to run, but like others here have said, she needs to get elected to at least Senator/Governor before I see her realistically winning the nomination. They actually ran weeks of press about his heart attack and slip in the shower, then democratic organizations (DMFI) spent millions on ads weaponizing that in early primary state, while nearly nothing was said of Biden’s multiple aneurysms. Then health was a minor focus for Biden once in the general. I would personally like someone like Rep. Barbara Lee. She’s got a solid record and is a passionate speaker. Yet someone who’s qualifications were working for a shady firm, being in the military, and was mayor of a small town did decently in the primary. Sanders supporters say that the primaries are rigged because they're rigged. The entirety of the Democratic Party coordinated to stop him last time. It wasn't remotely subtle. Here are six articles confirming that obvious fact. It's not up for debate, dude. They're rigged. Everyone knows that. Even the American beltway press openly admits it.
