There are terrible tragedies that happen every single day that get no press or recognition from even the most woke celebrities. It’s absolutely impossible. There’s always something she could be talking about.

Wtf? Stefani has done so much with her platform, maybe even too much. In the end, she's only 1 person and has her own baggage to deal with daily too.

Exactly. I also think she's just on a phase of being disillusioned with social media. She thinks it's a cess pit. She just doesn't want to be on it and she will get **** no matter what she does. And she also realises that the world does not revolve around her opinion on things. I'll say it again. People who sit at home harassing cekebs into talking on social issues are weird af. 

 

We also know that she's been through a rough time with her mental health. Maybe she just doesn't want to take on that responsibility and tries to stay zen. She absolutely has that right to protect her mental health. She's done her share of advocacy. Sometimes she needs to put that energy into herself and maintaining her own stability. It doesn't mean that she doesn't care or indeed that she's not supportive of Britney personally or social issues. I actually side eye celebs who pop up a random post about Britney bc to me they are mostly doing it for clout and to satisfy the mob demanding" their opinion. That's what some of you fail to realise.

I'm so tired of this mindset honestly  Why do we need to have celebs speak up about current tragedies and natural disasters when we can access them quickly in this day and age. I mean, Gaga has millions waiting for her to post on Twitter, we can assume they also see updates on current catastrophies and donation links to offer help. She is an activist yes, but she is also an artist, an actress, a popstar, like give her a break. She has done a lot, probably more than her peers ever did this last years, and I think it's enough. It's nice to hear when she speaks up about something but we can't expect her to do that for everything.

I read the first page and feel like the best answers have already been given. You just can't speak about everything and I think it probably has more impact to speak about some things in a very qualitative way, instead of about almost everything quickly.

Because she takes action on the causes she cares about. That means more than some internet clout from a Tweet or two about every single crisis humanity ever faces tbh.

Why would you even want her to post about Afghanistan? As if she has anything important or substantial to add to that situation?  and if it's just to show sympathy...idk, what's the point if making a whole ass statement to say "I'm sad because ___"? Like, it'd be nice but honestly whose life is being changed when they're told "Lady Gaga made a general statement about our situation!"?

Relief for Hati, the crisis in Afghanistan, the horrors taking place in Palestine, these are not things Gaga needs to have a public stake in. You need to be asking why our leaders aren't doing certain things to aide or relocate people or stand up to oppressive governments, not "why hasn't this pop star tweeted about it?".

Honestly, it's nice when she makes an effort to do something in the public view like she's done for the gay community, women, or for BLM and covid relief last year but I think expecting her (or anyone) to use their platforms to preach to the world about every issue is honestly so childish. Even more so when you start to doubt how sincere they are when they actually get involved with something just because they don't tweet about everything.

I'm aware that this post is coming off as hostile and tbh it's intentional. I'm beyond tired of seeing people doubt how genuine this woman is. How many times does she have to prove she's a hard working bitch with a heart of solid gold before you people realize it?

I'm starting to think the old rumors are true and she actually does have a d*ck 'cause y'all are constantly riding it for the stupidest reasons.
