That's not how this works. There's no way the military will let that money go to other things apart from the military itself, much less to social policies lol

serious question though, what will military do with that much money? would they spend it on newer war tech or something similar?

What about those that are severely financially disabled :bear:

I don't have loans anymore but slay good luck to those who benefit from this.

@WheresMy911Alice you quoted a spam bot  careful of any posts with random words linked. Bots latch onto certain trigger words in threads and post either shady advertisements or links to malware.

why not make it available for free in the first place?!?!? what kind of system sees a disabled person and goes "they should pay the same amount of money a non-disabled person can make."

Well a person could become disabled afterwards too

But Not having education so expensive in the first place is the real issue ppl should be focusing more on even more so. Tuitions costing as much as they do is the REAL issue

Everyone based on comments I always see just wants all debt wiped so they don't have to pay it back yet this would be a randomly timed act that would benefit a specific group of ppl in this time frame. In a few years we will be right back in this situation

Simply wiping the debt and doing nothing else to target the root problem in the first place is typical short term let's fix the symptom with a short term solution and maybe we will talk about fixing the actual cause of the problem later
