Facebook and Instagram will delete accounts of users who are trolling Lizzo

Facebook has reportedly begun deleting the accounts of users who have frequently fat-shamed Lizzo since the arrival of her new single.

Insiders with Facebook, which owns Instagram, said that the company's already removed a number of comments left on Lizzo's recent Facebook and Instagram posts, and Facebook will continue reviewing reports of hateful comments on an ongoing basis.

Facebook is removing accounts of users who continue breaking community guidelines around hate speech, harassment and bullying, so, any trolls going after Lizzo could soon get the ax.

Hope Instagram does that for others as well. I had reported a few extreme hate mongering homophobic accounts, but unfortunately almost none of them got suspended. I was simply provided with an option to block them.

so many things get by, I accidentally saw a horrific video on instagram the other day of someone dying and it was uploaded over a year ago so it's been there a long time and who knows how long it will stay
