That new album is SOOOOO good!!! I didn't skip a damn track.

I couldn’t listen to it :( can you tell me which tracks are like her In My Defense era and which are more pop like the new Classic era?

I've always had an admiration of Iggy and this interview amplifies that. I think her timing in music was a double edged sword, both propelling her career through her viral hits but also exposing her to a lot of scrutiny and controversy which she ultimately didn't come back from. Her label really sucked and kind of shelved her when they should have and could have saved her career for the GP. Gaga proves that one can come back from a hard fall into a new peak (though the situations differed slightly) and I think it was popular to hate on Iggy because she was a white female rapper even though Eminem never really got cancelled when he made his homophobic remarks. And you can see the effects of that in all of Iggy's public interactions, as she became more private, expresses her hate for touring, shies away from singing in favor of rap, and her defensiveness both in her music and on social media. I don't think she doesn't have more to say but I think she's ready to walk away from music because she has to defend every word she utters in it and just doesn't have complete creative freedom even as an independent artist.
