Lee 62
It feels so much like the release of ARTPOP to me, with all the different snippets everywhere I just keep going back and replaying them like I did with the many snippets we got with ARTPOP, and for both albums my hype is astronomical
Ziggy 11,867
tbh it got people talking about it more than if they had just announced it. it's a remix album. building hype is HARD for that. so kudos to them
joseprobe 0
I don't really like such marketing tactics, but it seems that they achieved what they wanted. So, the results of marketing is the only thing what matter in this case, and they did great. The biggest problem is to get hype for a remix album because not so many people really like remixes...so without proper marketing it wouldn't be possible to attract anyone's attention. Once again, as I learned on one of the music promotion websites, - to promote a remix album is the hardest thing ever from marketing and pr specialists. They did a great job and I personally respect that.
