Wait I thought madonna was with Warner already?

Will we get scrapped babyface collab? :giveup:Take a Bow is such a serve...

she was until Hard Candy :)

I hope they make up for the horrors committed with Celebration (poorly mastered songs, inaccurate credits in the booklet... Stuff for bootlegs you can buy at a market stall).

The fact that an announcement has been made with great fanfare and that Madonna herself will edit the various releases gives me hope (and especially that her manager has explicitly stated that she "listened to what the fans have been saying for the last 30 years").

Moreover, I see that some HQ videos have been remastered... A blu-ray accompanying each album with the videos.... Am I hoping for too much?

Could you imagine a Dolby Atmos mix of Erotica with You Are The One, Shame, Dear Father, Goodbye to Innocence, etc?! :tony::pray:

Love, if I start imagining all that might come (each time you break my heart original demo in HQ, triggering, SEX the movie, and hundreds of other things)... Bring me the smelling salts.

but if they decide not to use any demos i'd be sad, but in the end even just a full set of all the remixes and versions released for each single plus videos and HD Audio would suit me just fine.

Can’t wait for Erotica (her magnum opus) and Ray Of Light 😍

Ughhhh I would give anything in my life to hear her debut album remastered to sound aligned with today’s audio technology. That’s what holds me back from listening to 80s pop, where is the bass at???? :messga:

Thank you!!

I've just been thinking about the fact that maybe we'll finally get a CD version of Gambler for the Western market?

(It had only been released in Japan on CD, along with the very first original version of Crazy for You, which is a bit longer than the Something to Remember version, and fades out on the instrumental... Small detail but that makes the song even more beautiful in my opinion)

For all millennials who don't know this gem (it's the only Madonna single that isn't even on Spotify!) it's time to discover it!

I'm really hoping for the unreleased demos for LAP, Erotica, and ROL. "Like a Flower" and "Gone Gone Gone" are absolutely divine and need to be released in high quality.

I understand the celebration and honoring her work, good for her because it’s well deserved. But what exactly is the point of the rereleasing her catalogue? I’m confused.

Remasterings, B Sides & demos? Just to name a few.

if they compress the audio like in the 35th anniversary edition of true blue they can keep it

I'm honestly not very familiar with Madonna, haven't listened to a full album, but I hope they just don't take the original tracks and just do some mediocre remaster.

I think they should follow Taylor's path an re-record every instrument and re-do production following line by line, every song so they sound the same but better like the Taylor's Versions, i feel they should only keep the vocal tracks from the originals.

Basically intro her to a new generation of listeners and up her presence to make her more commercially viable as a legend since she isn't going to be a chart-topping pop girl anymore (and she shouldn't tbh; that's the wrong market position for her). They're *finally* going the legacy route with her which, frankly, is long overdue since she IS a legend with a huge legacy. This happening alongside that biopic she's working on? Mhmm. Madge is shooting for legacy rn.
