I mean I hated the Joanne era but she did a LOT of promo for it and it was pretty cohesive/consistent, you can't deny her dedication to it.

But yeah I was waiting since ARTPOP for an era I would enjoy, Chromatica seemed like a dream come true then it ended up being her worst era yet by far:rip:

She did a lot yes! But she focused on piano/guitar ballads and that kind of mess. Its not like she was doing pop music. PI, DH, AYO, DIC had nothing if you bring MR to the table. Even her attitude was not it

Technically The Remix featured Marilyn Manson and BTW The Remix had some new background vocals from The Weeknd :ally:

Oops, my flop a$$ hasn't listened to either of those albums in so long I forgot:rip:

I can clearly see bowie's family not authorizing this, just cut off this sample and keep that electro sound

Imagine if she just posted the cover and a date. Nothing else.
I’d be happy to wait a couple months then.
:nick:

Its the uncertainty that is killing me.

I still refuse to believe the album won’t be coming this week and that Bloodpop and the team could be this disrespectful by saying wrong dates and teasing for nothing. Counting my last days of clownery and hopes during August lol

When fans build expectations out of nowhere and start complaining, it’s one thing - and exclusively their problem.

But not when the producer spilled a lot of information. What is it fun about it? And all these snippets…damn….

I agree, but then why she agreed with its release? If it’s to be a surprise drop to be forgotten a weeks later and not mess the new image she’s building up for Gucci and Jazz era, wouldn’t it be easier not to come out with any remix album at all?

Idk, maybe they expected it would be done for July, or she and the label are happy to put it out as a quick release for the fans. I don't think artists generally make a big deal out of remix albums, so it wouldn't be strange if she dropped it and then didn't mention it again.

I'm just speculating though - she might surprise us with a video and spend next week promoting and posting about it, I doubt it - but you never know. Whatever she does I don't imagine it will be extensive and I don't think fans should have any expectations beyond the album itself - at the end of the day it's about the music. Personally I don't really mind if she posts about it one time or 20 times on Instagram, I'm just looking forward to the bops.

5? that joanne mess is barely considered a pop era, just her crying in the corners with an acoustic guitar. our last pure pop era was that other mess called ARTPOP. at this point she doesn't care anymore

Rude. fans like you are the reason she hates us

I think it’s becoming more and more transparent that Gaga doesn’t want to be a pop star anymore. Her lack of care with Chromatica and the fact that she was practically forced to create it based on what she’s said in interviews, is proof of this for me. I mean bloodpop had to make her come down to the studio and record it. I really just wish she would own her **** and just focus on a film career and her makeup brand, some jazz music here and there. Stop making pop music that you don’t promote and don’t perform. Like girl it’s obvious that you’re over it at this point by your lack of follow through with anything related to pop music. Just move on already.

I mean in that sense, if you are having such strong aversions, you can move on too. There's no point sticking around. Food for thought. :vegas: it's a win win situation for everybody.

The next pop album is likely at least 3 years away, probably longer, and her last uncancelled pop era was 5 years ago. Can you blame fans for wanting a little bit more Chromatica era to keep them going?

First you literally don't know when her next pop album will be out, if she started to write / compose / record or anything. Until she'll be in LA, there will be no way to know it unless she decides to tease. Which is a thing Lady Gaga seems to dislike lately.

Secondly, well, I'm not blaming anyone. But if you really expect her to give you more than the poorly promoted original album for some remixes she didn't even worked on by herself... Well set up for some disappointment...

I agree with you. I don’t think they will focus a lot on that remix album anyway when there is a lot of other serious appointments for the end of the year. And I am very excited for these!

But they could have released the remix album quickly and still provide a fun experience but instead there is this mess unprofessional atmosphere towards it that I don’t get why.

Specially a rewind of an album that ended up not having a good roll out at all.  :laughga:

If Bloodpop wasn’t 100% sure album is coming this month, then it’s absolutely cruel :selena: I’m not angry by any means, but it’s kinda rude to do even with us
