The current Afghan minister of inner affairs announced a "peaceful transition of power". The islamistic terrorist group Taliban has now conquered the entire country only weeks after NATO troups have left the country to defend it against them. Taliban militias are currently seizing the capital Kabul as panic of diplomats living there rises. This is Trump's legacy, his administration ordered for US soldiers to stop their help in Afghanistan and signed a peace treaty with the Taliban. The Taliban literally broke the peace treaty only days after it was signed with the US administration not caring. The Biden administration now has to live with the consequences and defend the decisions of the previous administration as if it were their own. They’ve made allies in Pakistan, Qatar and China and they don’t ever stick to treaties and accords so I wonder how much money someone could make by getting into bed with the taliban knowing they’re not civil.
