Should Gaga & Beyoncé collab again?

LOL what... I never got this impression. I don't think bey would have collabed with the new girl if she hadn't liked her and saw talent. She didn't need to. I think they are very different personality wise. Offstage Beyonce is just so controlled and measured and soooo aware of her image whereas Gaga just doesn't really care about that stuff any more. Gaga will pour her heart out in an interview or on stage about the most personal of things  whereas Beyonce insists on interviewing and directing herself to make sure she doesn't give away anything.. They just have different approaches to fame and to life. Being around somebody as open as Gaga probably is nerve wracking to Beyonce 😅 but I always thought she thought the same as pretty much anyone who has met Gaga, that's she's a really nice person with a ton of talent. There's no reason not to like her so I don't know where that take comes from. 

As for another collab... Hmm. I dunno. The internet kind of ruins these things bc it just turns into my fav is better than your fav.. Especially with Gaga v Beyonce bc they kind of are the only female artists you can compare on an equal level.  I think the ASIB thing really ramped up the drama between fandoms. But if a really cool project came along it would be nice to see them work together.

The magic of Telephone is that it is so zainy and unique especially for Beyonce. There’s a sense of humor behind it that I think is really laking in pop music today, so if Beyonce were up for it maybe? But a lot of her work is very serious, I think the closest Beyonce has come to telephone’s quirkiness was in the Hold Up video.

I wouldn't hate it. But I'd much rather have a Rihanna or Adele collab. Rihanna because I love her and Adele because it would be fun to see how their voices sound together.

I would love to see them on a track together that's highlighting their vocal abilities, something like Love On Top or Shallow. But I think that's pretty unrealistic for various reasons. So no, I don't think it's ever going to happen again.

It wouldn't work as a duet because it'll be compared to telephone. (We will erase video phone from our memories please).

However.. Paparazzi was 1 person, part 1. Telephone was 2 people part 2... so it would really work as a trio for part 3, allowing Gaga and Beyonce the rep for supporting a newer upcoming girl in the industry with a gigantic collab for part 3.

That's really the only way it'd work without looking like a total rehash. But who?

I'd like them to PERFORM LIVE TOGETHER. For me, Video Phone and Telephone is enough. I'd like to see them interact on stage for the public, in a performance of either of the two..but better if it's Telephone. 

If they are bound to collab artistically, i hope Beyonce helps out Gaga in making more music videos

And tbh i wouldnt even be that excited for that collab now. It was cool back then but now it just feels like 2 old artists doing an irrelevant collab at a futal attempt to make an explosive chart topper...

 

i say i woukd feel like that just cuz i dont see an artistic benefit from the two getting together where they are in their careers now. Not a cool banger like Rain On Me and not a beautiful harmony like Gaga and Tony. I just dont see something amazing coming from the Gaga + Beyonce rn

 

At the same time the commercial benefit of 2 old artists that struggle to get big hits on their own now doesnt make sense either

 

No artistic benefit + limited commercial benefit = a pointless collab
