Have u forgiven Ellen for not being nice and for her toxic toxicity? :bear:

Honestly, I think fame got to her head and I think Hollywood and LA can change people for the bad. It's all about money and fame, and I can imagine people trying to use you all the time.

So I think people should forgive Ellen and give her a new chance. After all, she's only guilty of not being the nice person she portrays. It's not like she killed someone

It's not for us to forgive her. It's the staff she abused over years that would have to forgive her.

Let's have kind people have their own show and give opportunities to people that deserve it. Ellen made her millions already.

Honestly, I don't wish anything bad for her but I don't think she deserves to be in the spotlight again.

It's not for me or you to forgive her, but to answer the question: no, I don't forgive a rich famous person for mistreating her employees. Her career can rot in hell.

I don't feel like she owes me an apology, but as someone who has worked in the service industry since I was 15, anyone who mistreats their staff should be held accountable. And I don't think she's genuinely sorry, because at the end of the day she gets to retire, still be in the 1%, and treat people like crap. I've heard stories of restaurant workers in LA, one woman in particular had chipped nail polish (and didn't have a chance to fix it because she closed and then opened); Ellen made such a fuss she almost got fired. Someone with that much influence should never use it to be anything but kind.

I never cared enough about her to be emotional about it beyond the disappointment over the mistreatment of her employees :lolly: .

Or as TayTay would put it: It isn't love, it isn't hate, it's just indifference :lolly:

I don't know. All I know is that I'm kinda done with the toxic culture that likes to cancel people for the rest of their lives after they are called out and have promised to do better going forward. I mean, what's even the point of it? I fear this so-called cancel culture is literally driving people to suicide.

We probably all have been Ellen at some point in our lives.

Yes, she did things that are wrong. Did she commit unforgivable crimes? No.
