Tarantino mom is proud of him despite he hasn't shared his wealth with her

Wow all that resentment is a bit concerning. My mother has also said AND done very terrible things to me (worse than him I think) but that doesn't compare to everything we have experienced together, good or bad. I would never say no to my mother if she needs any help.

Spoiler

Oh and btw I have never liked Tarantino's movies. They're all so pretentious, boring and uses the same formula over and over again.

I'm sure there is more to the story. This seems really odd that he would treat her like this for that one moment from childhood.

There's probably more to this to be fair. I'm assuming that wasn't the first and only time she ever put him down.

I think she verbally and physically abused him. You don’t cut off your mom over one comment.

And? What about it? He literally never asked to be alive. It’s his mom and father that decided to have a child and then her mother decided to not support him in his career choice.

I think this sounds incredibly petty and ridiculous of him. His mother could be a very sweet person who had a bad moment. I always thought he was a bit of a creep.

Lol 😆 Okey

Kill Bill is awesome but I agree with this concerning all his other movies

Raising a child because you have to and doing it compassionately when it isn’t already your responsibility are two separate things.
If you’re gonna have a child, you better treat it right and give it every fighting chance. Parents who resent their children and put them down and then act like saints for doing the bare minimum to allow the child to SURVIVE are actual demons.
No one asks to be born. There is so much suffering because of unfit parents…

I hate that **** so much. So what if she ****ing raised him. That's her job, that's not something he chose for her to do, that's literally her responsibility that she put on herself 😆

Queen Bitch

Well he doesn’t owe anyone anything no matter what. Not even his mom. Also his moms behavior sounds terrible. Parents really need to stop trying to kill their childrens dreams. It’s awful behavior.

My mom told me ONCE when I was 15 that she’d rather deal with me having cancer than being gay. And a decade later, I can’t even call her for a casual conversation because it still hurts, and I still hear those words, even though we talked about it years ago. The way it made me feel never left me and that **** just devastated my self worth and ruined our relationship.

Even from a young age she would always be telling me to be grateful that I had food and shelter and all the nice things she bought for us, named explicitly and she would never let us forget. It changed me and made me feel innately guilty for exisiting for a long time.

We are a product of our environment and it’s perfectly acceptable to not allow abusers access to the nice parts of your life you’re enjoying without their interference.

GABEL

If you think that is a terrible thing to say, you have no chance to survive as a child in most Asian countries lol.

Well boohoo lets just all believe that this woman was a cruel and uncaring mother based off of one anecdote.

It's hilarious watching everyone jump to agreeing that this woman did not deserve to be looked after by her multi millionaire son just bc she told him to keep it real 🤣

So harsh. That's your mother.

My grandmother is a complete lunatic and if i was a millionaire I would buy her a house with a nice garden and help. I guess this is bcs of my culture and we africans, or asians don't do **** like that. You respect your elders, at all cost. She gave birth to you, birthing takes hours and hours with an immense pain. Yeah she made a mistake, she judged you, she belittled you, why don't you act like an adult and talk to her about how you feel? Either way it's your mom and you should take care of her. That's my perspective. But this is his life he does what he wants and it's his money, I just think he might regret it later on when she dies

For me personally, my grandmother is a terrible person, and I would still help her, even more if i was a millionaire. I just cannot fathom not helping your family member unless they are psychos or something...
