oheyitso 2,325 Posted June 10, 2022 Share Posted June 10, 2022 I feel like what we need to remember with Spotify is that both Interscope and Spotify aren’t going to pay lots/give lots of opportunities to a song they’re unsure is going to smash. I love HMH, but it’s more in line with other polarising Gaga songs like Perfect Illusion/Shallow, than it is to instant pop party songs like ROM. ‘I Ain’t Worried’ has instant replayablity (even though I think it’s kinda average as a song) and OneRepublic also definitely need a hit more than Gaga does right now (so they probably care more about pushing for it). Spotify/Interscope need to feel confident that if they position HMH for success, it’s going to reward them, which we’re starting to see as the song is growing, so hopefully that continues!! 1 Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
