This album is iconic and Gaga’s best album. Can’t take anyone who doesn’t agree seriously.

I gave it a 4. The album is a masterpiece and a pop reset and all the other pop-stars at the time jumped on the gothic/ dark aesthetic bandwagon. The only reason I didn’t give it a 5, is because it’s too short. Every song is so good, but it just suddenly stops. It’s like having some good pillow talk and you’re about to 💦, then something happens and your stuck with blue balls.

I rated it a 4 in relation to her discography. Born This Way and Chromatica are 5s for me. Joanne is a 3. ARTPOP is a 2. The Fame is a 1. If it had a longer runtime with 2 or 3 more songs, I'd probably give it a 5. I respect that it is considered an album and look at it as such, but an album with a runtime of about 35 minutes is way too short of an album for me.

It’s the runtime for me too. A couple more songs would have been great. We know Gaga had it in her at the time to make more bops with her producers like Red One and Fernando Garibay. They could have created some more songs. I heard some unused demos of the time, and if reworked correctly would have fit perfectly on TFM. Like Bloody Mary was originally for The Fame Monster….The possibilities.

AGREED, and yet albums nowadays are like 15 tracks and still come out to 35 mins 🥴😂

Definitely a 5. An amazing pop album but it really elevated the genre and pop culture as a whole. The impact along with the fact Gaga successfully experimented and demonstrated her first big reinvention with this album makes it one of the best Gaga album's in my opinion.
