although to be fair, i think that's based more on bad memories of the album than a dislike for the music. i get the sense Ari's gotten tired of performing Bang Bang and doesn't like the song itself

She also doesn't like applause, or at least hasn't at some points. I remember when she closed at swinefest with applause she prefaced it with "we're gonna do applause bc they said we had to" or something like that lol

Yeah Ariana got annoyed that in the earlier stages of her career Bang Bang was considered a career highlight for her, but obviously now, all her songs eclipse that one. I find it a kiii, that Ariana’s kinda like “i’m on board with the idea, but it has to be a BETTER song” and Jessie J’s answer is very like “you can’t get better than that” and Ariana’s is very “uhm idk” hahaha

That, and I also got the vibes of when a friend asks if you wanna do something and you really don't, so you kinda agree to be polite but then look for every opportunity to get out of it.
