Rihanna is now worth $1.7 billion, Forbes estimates—making her the wealthiest female musician in the world and second only to Oprah Winfrey as the richest female entertainer. But it’s not her music that’s made her so wealthy. The bulk of her fortune (an estimated $1.4 billion) comes from the value of Fenty Beauty, of which Forbes can now confirm she owns 50%. If make up is her passion, fine - the money is just a bonus. But I see Gaga as more of a musician and artist than Rihanna, so I think it's would be a real travesty to show business if she continued to focus more on her beauty brand than her entertainment career for the sake of money. She doesn't need the money, she really doesn't. Thankfully, I don't think she is focusing more on Haus Labs than music and acting. But the suggestion that she should (to get richer) feels off to me. I wouldn't 'stan' the CEO of a beauty brand. I realized the other day a lot of entertainers pick up these side gigs because of the stigma that performing is “not stable” and take with that what you want but the pandemy surely proved that HOWEVER i completely agree with you on what you’re saying about coins. Gaga is the generational artist/performer of our time, in a league with Piaf, Garland, Streisand, etc.; the very best, to be honoured for decades, perhaps a century or two. I don’t think Gaga can stop; she’s self-driven to create and perform, it’s her raisin d’être, existentially.
