Not exactly. First half of the movie is a bit too slow and drawn out for my taste. For a while I was thinking, "Is this as exciting as this movie is gonna be?" They could've condensed the first hour of the story into a half hour, in my opinion. But ... it got a lot better mid-film and the second half is reallllly good. That's where all the exciting, juicy stuff happens!! Either way, Gaga is PHENOMENAL in this! Jerod Leto also spectacular!
