Also it's rare to have a social media and then review lift...they usually only do that for comic book films.

Little Monsters really need to get off Kristen's neck. She's grown up a lot (she was a troubled child star at one point, but she's 30 something now) and she's an art house/indie darling and she's handling the campaign very well (even Lainey Gossip was remarking on how well Kristen was handling it)—film twitter/film critics aren't NOT going to like it if monsters get all nasty about her on twitter. She might not be popular with the GP (tho lesbians/hipsters love her), but she's really loved by the film community and she made some pro union comments which made people even more favorable towards her (very few big stars have commented on IATSE). Monsters are doing Gaga no favors bringing up Woody Allen. Half of Hollywood, from Colin Firth to Emma Stone, have worked with him and Kristen eventually said it was a mistake. Bringing up Woody is just going to make people think of R. Kelly. And I wouldn't use ONTD as some benchmarker for her because that site hates women-including Gaga-at this point and half of the people who post about her on there are angry Rob Pattinson fans who never got over her cheating on him a decade ago. She's absolutely the favorite to win. She has the Palm Springs and Gotham Spotlight awards. It's still early and Gaga, Cruz, or Tessa could win but Kristen's made her way through the media blitz before the premiere without any big missteps so it's unlikely anything will happen on that end...with an art house film like Spencer (and someone like Kristen who isn't into giving interviews) it's unlikely she'll do more than a few interviews at most now that the film has been released. Really?? Gaga fans are dragging someone from being in a Woody Allen film? Are they forgetting a certain wannabe-Woody Allen film lead?

Patriziaa Reggiani 7,647
Kristen may peak early in the award season, the same happened with Gaga and ASIB, all the acclaim and predictions to lose all its categories except the music one. MGM has laid a very intricate promotional campaign, with private screenings for the Academy members, SAG members, PLA memebers, media and critics, there are private screenings as well. Then we also have LA, NY, London premiers, the Promo is getting huge day by day, I trust the media houses that they Will handle such big of a film very well. I will not watch House of Gucci

I hope it isn't true because we're just 3 weeks away from the movie release. How can this be construed as something bad? It’s much easier to offer a negative critique through a tweet than a full review. Negative sentiment amongst critics will also often spread faster on social media. They’re obviously confident that the overall sentiment is positive and they’re saving full reviews to build up anticipation.

Genuine Guy 09 13,941
The social media embargo coming off November 9th is good - it ties into the first official premiere, people will be able to react after it and many others talk freely on the internet. The review embargo staying on is also a tactic - they can keep critics away and show the film to as many voters and awarding bodies as possible without any external preconceptions. The review embargo also helps control the rollout, they can decide when reviews come out to give a boost to the films promotion/visibility on social media. I expect that to lift either this coming Friday, or the 16th/17th after two more big screenings are done Stare at the Chartster in the mirror they talk to me too. #StreamFunTonight
