I never defended that look. It may have been "acceptable" and "valid" as a concept back in 2008-9, but it is unacceptable today.

i’m not saying you did, i’m saying other people on this site have.

GGD is offended, what's new :trollga:

This is the new "Iggy black-fishing in new video" :sharon:

Have you even read the OP? Did you read her “apology”? Are you like paying attention to anything that’s happening or just mindlessly jabbering statements that contradict everyone else’s purely to be inflammatory?

Idk why people brought up Gaga’s bad spray tan when that’s literally what people in New York and Jersey looked like with their horribly-too-dark orangey brown spray tans.

this dude did black face, Gaga just used too much self tanner.

"the intention was not blackface" well, the intention does not matter at all when the end product IS blackface

"she has grown and changed" where is that change in her reply to this situation, girlies?

"ggd is offended/stay pressed/anything including the word sjw" I'm not even gonna say anything to these except okay boomer/trumpie

"you can't blame her for the dancer's fault" it is her team and her tone-deaf response to the situation, if she handled it better this would have almost been a non-issue

"bringing up Gaga" well, lil racists, YOU are the ones bringing her up in order to argue something like "well, if this is blackface then what about THIS??????" lmao

"cancel culture/we should allow people to grow" since when does "allowing people to grow" mean letting people go scot-free with apparent racism?

"people love drama" except this is not simply "drama" for many people, being black has very real consequences for black people and trying to simplify outrage about blackface into "drama" is not only very tone-deaf, but also incredibly racist, but then again, I don't really expect better from ggd I guess...

um, any other idiotic arguments y'all wanna throw out?

So long ggd, it was nice while it lasted.

Y’all SJWs continue to stay pressed. I for one really enjoyed Camila’s performance, and that’s coming from someone who doesn’t particularly care for her. She’s explained the intention of that character choice and it makes sense. He had a bad tan, not blackface. It’s not like they tried to make this man black as a way to exclude people of color, because the cast was VERY diverse. Stay pressed if you want but I think there’s a lot more things in this world to worry about than this :huntyga:

@Andrea Nicole I know you guys don't have any real arguments, but even with your attempts at flamebaiting I think you can be more... creative :billie:

can we talk about her referring to the dancer as "this dude"? Like is she not responsible for him being a part of the show ? Given it was supposed to be not his fault in the first place why call him that way .. he was literally with you on stage..
