Stupid Oreo 14,210
edit nø 373783483837 i am a dumb piece of sh*t please ignore this or come and drag me Spoiler I just took a look at the presale for the L4S (One Last Time) concert in NYC. I was thinking about booking a flight and witnessing this spectacle, but I am in shock right now. Decent tickets are between 1000-2000$ per person ( https://www.ticketmaster.com/one-last-time-an-evening-with-new-york-new-york-08-05-2021/event/3C005AF1EE2B0CDC ) And yes I know that concert tickets usually aren’t cheap, but even the most expensive Chromatica Ball tickets are almost the same price as the cheapest tickets for this. Not only to mention that this is almost more than what an average person makes in a month. It just seems like a ripoff, and sad towards the people that stan her. Pennywise 35,853
It's a very small venue and a very special concert. I don't think it's primarily for Gaga fans at all. Would it be nice for the tickets to be cheap? Yeah, but I'm not really surprised that they aren't. So long ggd, it was nice while it lasted.
PartySick 148,330
Limited seating to a small venue where two major artists are headlining at the same time, one for the last time before retirement I'm just like 🧍♂️
Fashionofhissteven 230
It’s Not For The Gheys? This Is Tony’s Last Show? It’s His Fan Base? GaGa Is Literally The Feat. In This.

Probs not on her power to change the price. Probs we're/you're not the target demographic. Probs fewer seats available, so the ones available are priced to balance that out. 🙇

LaLa 19,265
It's two shows in a small theatre for a VERY special event, of course it's gonna be expensive.
LilyLark 9,949
I see decent tickets for $580. I mean, it's very expensive but it's also two major A listers...and this is more Tony's show rather than Gaga. I don't like it when concerts are that expensive, but a) I don't blame the artists...it's usually the labels, etc. and b) I sort of get it considering it's Tony's last show. Also, the $580 tickets look pretty good to me? While I don't like paying that much, I feel like that's pretty normal for a decent seat to see two huge stars in a small venue..especially when it's the last show for Tony.... But yeah, what you said plus this isn't really targeted at Gaga's fanbase as much as it is a final bow for Tony...and the labels are always going to make sure that sort of thing is expensive asf. EGOT2027 10,827
only platinum seats were available today unless you have a citi card. while the platinum seats were outrageous, if you clicked around, you could see that the regular tickets (which will be on-sale to everyone tomorrow) were about $95-$250 which was honestly cheaper than i was expecting for such a historic concert. also for lorde’s new tour, ticketmaster was quite literally inflating ticket prices WHILE the pre-sale was going on. i think these things are often decided very far removed from the actual artists

They can edit out any issues. I'd probably spring for the $580 ticket—the seat looks decent enough to me—if I lived in NYC. I wouldn't spend money on a flight or hotel room though.
