Canada Surpasses USA 2nd Doses As Covid Cases Plumet

Canada for a long time has been ahead of the US in 1st doses (now 79%) but lagged the US in 2nd doses as the Country chose to extend gap to give more people partial protection rather than more protection to fewer people

 

Now Canada has surpassed the US in 2nd doses as well reaching over 50% for those 12 and older

 

Daily covid cases have plumeted to below 300 with Ontario getting the most at 177.

While this is a remarkable achievement and I’m very jealous do them I think it’s an unfair comparison considering they only have about the same amount of people as California alone.

I dont know why ppl always bring up the population factor. Percentages and contracts per capita are what matter more in this case not a countries total population, plus the US has the ability to vaccine more too anyway but many ppl in many states are just vaccine hesitant
