In the past 100 years much has changed, the world is now a true global community thanks to technological advancements, so why not strive to make it an official global community? Im all for it. Because those with power in government don't want to give it up. Forming a global leadership council makes logical sense, but the reality of getting individual nations to relinquish power isn't going to happen. like a cat in a sil, I observe life, moving and still. I just think that economics aside, each European country has so much history and culture and I think by bringing them together into one country would ruin that. Even with their withering economy, I don't think the Irish would be keen to do that. Ireland is an EXTREMLY productive country 13th highest GDP per capita and enough beef production to feed TEN TIMES the population,Software and Pharmasutecials are huge also. Yeah but America was already a country of states from the get-go. It would be a lot different for multiple countries to form into one with a state status. It would be a lot different for multiple countries to form into one with a state status. The states didn't view themselves that way. The founding fathers bonded over a common enemy. Afterwards it simply made more sense to be one country rather than separate ones, both from and economic and a military stand point. But the states were extremely different and are still extremely different today. Even after 100 years of being United the civil war almost tore the country apart. Europe could follow along the same path that the early states took. The parallels are uncanny. The biggest difference is that the socioeconomic differences between the European countries today is much different than it was for the states back then. Because if any economical missteps are taken in the future, the entire continent of Europe would collapse. You saw all the mayhem Greece alone caused a few years ago. Everyone that lives in Northern Ireland is a UK Citizen,Northern Ireland had a vote they do NOT want to be part of the ROI the sooner those d--g dealing,Murder IRA realise they will never win their silly war the better,I'm talking about the economy and the situation in the south is COMPLETELY different since the Queen's visit if you ask any respectable Irish person with some level of education they will have nothing against Britian or The Queen,Its just the scumbags as usual.
