JusKeepBreathin 19,311
It's not her best but I'd watch the video a million times for the way she sat on that surf board and I'm all gay here. But damn. Charliie 1,829
what in Chromatica's name is this? It is a good, basic weekend bop but the Aladdin pants and Tik tok choreo have to go.

I feel like something is missing Agreed. Lyrically, the song is fine for what it is, but the lack of any beat drop or bass, as well as the inclusion of some apparent muting/muffling effect makes the song sound much slower than I think its supposed to. This song is experimental for shakira cuz she's never done anything like this. her sound keeps changing . But I guess for some of yall experimental means "dark" or Billie eilish/lana esq There’s a difference between experimenting with your sound and being experimental. This is not experimental music as 90% of pop is not.

I’m a huge Shakira fan, but the last years she have just been making music that follows trends. Her last album was mostly reggaetón, trap and bachata, and some of her collabs since that album have been.. questionable, like with Annuel, who is an ignorant, sexist homophome. Obviously, this song is following the footsteps of the song she released with the Black Eyed Peas, this just seems more “TikTok”esque. Her lyrics used to be like a poem, very thoughtful and varied. Now, she’s been reduced to these plain, 1-dimensional lyrics. So I wouldn’t consider it “experimenting” as much as “selling out”, sadly..
